Seriously love this webcam *watches them sleep*
5th-Nov-2008 07:20 pm - my brain is foggy...
Ernie

much like the weather here :)

I love foggy weather, it feels so eerie and ahhhh...*just loves it*

*pokes brain*

It seriously isn't working right just now, but when I'm working from 8am-5pm Mon-Fri (then 2 shop shifts at weekends), who can be surprised :)

Yes, I am the proud owner of 2 jobs. I get up at 7am, at the shop from 8am-12pm, then straight to the hospice from 12pm-5pm (normally 1pm-5pm, but I'm making up hours from my days off a couple of weeks ago). Then I'm lucky if I can get to sleep before midnight, so that usually leaves me tired as hell all week.

Enough complaining though. The money is good...good enough for me to make back all the money I spent on part of my car. So it's all good.

The job at the hospice is inputting raffle ticket stuff (previous entry on my dilema involving that, scroll back a bit)...except they're paying me. Now if I was still doing it for free, it wouldn't be this often (5days a week). I really know why they're paying me, it really is a shit job, so repetitive, and most likely why my brain is goo.

*plays music to drown out fireworks* the dog is camped out on my floor...too scared to move.

gah...I've so not had to re-read this about 5 times and fix all the mistakes I made. *pokes brain again*

18th October...I think that's a new record round here for hearing fireworks in advance of the 5th November (Bonfire night).

I like fireworks...within reason. My dog Susie (I know...same name, will explain later) does NOT. My parents are out. The dog is on the verge of freaking out. I had to coax her out of my room, then the main computer room, then the bathroom, then from under my parent's bed.

We're now both shut in the living room. It's the only way I can keep an eye on her. I better clear a space for her in my wardrobe in the near future...that's her favourite place to go, but it's too messy right now.

Poor thing. I feel so bad for her right now. She's listening to every noise in the background *curses the car driving round the neighbourhood with the very loud engine* and is so jumpy :(

Ernie
Why did I get the urge last night to sort out the mess that is my room, 2 days before I go away on a small holiday (for 3 days)?

I got so worked up about it last night before I went to bed, I couldn't get to sleep right away. I wish I could just click my fingers and it would be finished!

I'm getting a brand new car tomorrow *bounces*, so I need to go out and clean the old one this afternoon (just a bit...don't know what the garage is wanting to do with it. Sell it on? Scrap it? Don't want to waste my time making it immaculate, but it is horrible and crumby).

Later tonight I want to do a bit of tidying cos my room is really driving me mad.

Tomorrow afternoon I need to pack for my holiday. Then at 4pm is car pick-up time *yay* so I'll want to drive it around.

Tomorrow night: more packing if I'm not done and more tidying.

I leave at 11.30am on Wednesday for York. Fun begins!

Ernie

Wow, it's cold here.

I had an awesome day today. Had to go into town after work to put looooooaaads of money into my bank accounts and return my library books (overdue...oops!)

I wasn't planning on borrowing any more for a while since I have a pile of my own to read at home...but I decided to have a browse anyway (anything to make my stay in town a bit longer to avoid the car parking man from trying to give me my parking for free...he's creepy!). I borrowed 2 books:

The Pits - The Real World of Formula One by Beverley Turner

and Lewis Hamilton: My Story  (haha!)

Hopefully I won't get too angry reading that last one.

I also bought this months F1 racing...which is so full of 'squeeeeeeee' worthy things I'm gonna have to read it as soon as I'm done here.

I got The Simpsons Movie and Superbad on dvd cheap too! *adds them to the pile of dvds I have but not watched yet*

I know I love music and everything, but our house has double glazed windows...every single one is shut and I have music on on my laptop...

is it really necessary to be able to hear band practice from a house 4 doors down and across the street??

It's doing my head in, no wonder I have a headache.

They aren't even good!!!

*ends rant*
9th-Sep-2008 02:50 pm - Problem solved with 1 phonecall?
Ernie

Before I start, I feel a little better from last night, I'm not sure if it is the flu or just food poisoning. Do you normally get horrible headaches with food poisoning? Also I'm weird, I never get flu symptoms at the same time...I can be ill for weeks on end with a different problem every week :| I'm thinking its that.

Will explain the phonecall under the cut.

Project for this afternoon: Revise my wish-lists for the catalogues we have in the house...I have money and a need for new winter clothes - it's time to create the short-list :)
8th-Sep-2008 11:45 pm - So tired...
Ernie
My head hurts. I'm getting the flu or something crappy like it.

Had to be when I wanted to be upbeat and super-focused for the tennis. Ah well.

Federer looks like he's gonna win - 2 sets up and 3-0 in the 3rd...

Right now I just need my bed, and the sooner the better to be honest *wills Federer on*

4-0 now, it's a shame for Andy, but Roger is playing really well.
